Paula Badosa Gibert (born November 15, 1997, in New York City) is a Spanish professional tennis player known for her powerful baseline game and mental resilience. Raised in Spain from the age of seven, she began playing tennis there and developed into a top junior, winning the 2015 French Open girls' singles title. Badosa turned professional in 2015 and has since claimed four WTA singles titles, including a prestigious WTA 1000 victory at Indian Wells in 2021.
