Garbiñe Muguruza, the statuesque Spanish-Venezuelan tennis star, combined fierce athleticism with undeniable charm. Born in Caracas in 1993, she rose to prominence by defeating Serena Williams to win the 2016 French Open, and followed up with a Wimbledon title in 2017, this time besting Venus. Her powerful groundstrokes and commanding presence propelled her to World No. 1 in 2017. Off the court, Muguruza's elegance and poise made her a favorite in fashion circles. In 2024, she retired at 30, transitioning to roles such as tournament director for the WTA Finals in Riyadh and ambassador for Tennis Channel Spain.
